When federal delays threatened SNAP benefits for 77,000 Montanans, Josh joined lawmakers calling on the state to use available contingency funds.
“We passed a bill that said, ‘Mr. Governor, here’s money to backfill cuts to federal programs. We’re giving you that authority.’ And yet, the governor refuses to do so.”

Josh joined fellow lawmakers questioning a proposal to dramatically expand Montana’s pen-raised pheasant program, asking FWP to show measurable results and explain how hunting-license revenue was being used.

Preparing Bozeman with Facts, Not Fear
Josh worked with law enforcement, school leaders, local officials and community organizations to coordinate a response if federal immigration enforcement affected Bozeman.
Josh also joined lawmakers from 27 states calling for accountability in federal enforcement.
